Bria

Bria, developed by Counterpath, is a well-established softphone available for all devices, including Android. While it comes with a cost, more details can be found on the Counterpath website.

Installation

To install Bria:

• Search for "Bria" in the marketplace and install the app.

Configuration

To configure Bria for use with babblevoice:

1. Go to More -> Accounts
2. Select Add Account
3. Fill in the following details:
4. Account Name: Choose a recognizable name (e.g., "babblevoice")
5. Display Name: Enter a name that will appear as your internal caller ID (e.g., your own name)
6. Username: Use the username from your babblevoice device settings (e.g., "1000")
7. Password: Enter the password from your babblevoice device settings
8. Domain: Input your babblevoice domain (e.g., "blingbling.babblevoice.com")
9. Outbound Proxy: Leave this field blank

10. Authorization Name: Use the username from your babblevoice device settings (e.g., "1000")

11. Save the settings.

Once saved, return to the Accounts screen, select the Phone tab, and you will be ready to make and receive calls.
